Affiliate Programme Terms

Last updated: 2 October 2026

These terms apply to everyone who joins the UK Trading Academy affiliate programme. The programme is run by UK Trading Academy Ltd (“UKTA”, “we”, “us”), a company registered in England and Wales (company number 08858400). By applying to join or by sharing your affiliate link, you agree to these terms.

1. Joining the programme

  • You must be 18 or over to join.
  • All applications are reviewed and we may accept or decline any application at our discretion.
  • Joining the programme is free. You never have to buy anything or pay a fee to become or remain an affiliate.
  • You are an independent affiliate, not an employee, agent or partner of UKTA, and you must not present yourself as acting on our behalf.

2. How commission works

  • You earn commission when a customer buys a UKTA course through your affiliate link or affiliate coupon code.
  • The standard commission rate is 40% of the amount the customer pays. We may agree a different rate with individual affiliates; your rate is shown in your affiliate dashboard.
  • Where a customer pays by monthly instalments, you earn commission on each instalment that is successfully paid.
  • Your link is tracked by a cookie that lasts 30 days. If the customer buys within 30 days of clicking your link, the sale is credited to you, as recorded by our tracking system.
  • Commission is only paid on real sales made to genuine customers. You cannot earn commission on your own purchases.

3. Team commissions

  • If another affiliate joins the programme through your link, they become part of your team, and anyone who joins through them also becomes part of your team.
  • When someone in your team makes a sale, you earn the difference between your commission rate and the highest rate of the affiliates below you on that sale. For example, if your rate is 40% and a team member with a rate of 25% makes a sale, they earn 25% and you earn 15%. If their rate is the same as or higher than yours, you earn nothing extra on that sale.
  • The total commission paid on any sale never exceeds the highest rate in the team.
  • Commission is only ever paid on course sales. No commission or reward is paid simply for recruiting new affiliates.

4. When commission is paid

  • New commissions are held for 30 days before they become payable, to allow for refunds and payment problems.
  • Commission is cancelled if the sale is refunded, reversed or charged back, or if the payment fails.
  • Payable commissions are paid monthly by bank transfer to the account details you give us. Please make sure your details are correct; we are not responsible for payments sent to incorrect details you have provided.
  • You are responsible for declaring and paying any tax due on your commission.

5. How you may promote UKTA

You may promote UKTA courses through your own website, social media, email (to people who have agreed to hear from you) and conversations, as long as you follow these rules:

  • No earnings or profit claims. You must not say or suggest how much money a customer can make from trading, or how much anyone can earn as an affiliate. You must not use screenshots of trading profits or income to promote UKTA.
  • No financial advice. You must not give investment advice or recommend that anyone trades, and you must not suggest that trading is low risk or that results are guaranteed.
  • Include a risk warning. Wherever you promote UKTA courses, make clear that trading carries a high level of risk and is not suitable for everyone.
  • Be honest about the courses. Describe our courses, qualifications and certification accurately, using the information on our website. Do not make claims we have not made.
  • Say you are an affiliate. You must clearly disclose that you may earn a commission, for example by labelling posts as an advert (#ad), as required by UK advertising rules.
  • No spam or misleading promotion. You must not send unsolicited messages, use misleading adverts, pretend to be UKTA, or create websites, social media accounts or adverts that could be mistaken for ours. You must not bid on “UK Trading Academy”, “UKTA” or similar terms in paid search adverts without our written permission.
  • Follow the law. You must comply with all laws and advertising rules that apply to you, including the UK Advertising Codes (CAP Code) and data protection law.

6. Our brand and materials

  • We may provide logos, images and wording for you to use. You may use our brand only to promote UKTA courses in line with these terms, and you must stop using it if we ask you to or if you leave the programme.
  • You must not change our logos or materials in a way that is misleading.

7. Changes, suspension and ending the programme

  • We may change these terms, the commission rates or the programme at any time. We will give you notice of changes by email or through your affiliate dashboard, and changes will apply to sales made after the change.
  • You may leave the programme at any time by contacting us.
  • We may suspend or end your participation at any time. If you break these terms, we may cancel any unpaid commission and close your account.
  • If your participation ends for any other reason, we will pay any valid commission that becomes payable under section 4.

8. Liability

  • We are not liable for any indirect losses, or for any loss of earnings caused by technical problems with links, tracking or the website.
  • Nothing in these terms excludes liability where such exclusion is prohibited by law.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
