The company has won the Alpari award for Best Intermediate Broker and the Global Forex Awards for Best Educational Resources. We have significant agreements with major brokerages providing our services worldwide.
Our growth is why we now have a brand-new office complex in Bridgend, Wales, with facilities for live classroom training, and our Dubai Academy.

The people behind UKTA
Paul Chalmers
Before founding UKTA, Paul built a career in senior corporate operations, culminating as Operations Director for the UK and Europe at Tyco. Blue-chip companies including Mitsubishi, Monsanto, Exxon, Pirelli and Tyco brought him in to turn around underperforming divisions.
Paul has traded the markets since 1998. He and his team hold a substantial licence agreement with a major international company to manage $50 million in funds, and he secured the Market Index licence that gives UKTA real-time data directly from the major liquidity providers’ aggregated positions. He has been featured in Finance Magnates and is a sought-after keynote speaker worldwide, speaking and moderating at international finance conferences.
In 2024 Paul was pivotal in UKTA achieving accreditation to deliver internationally recognised qualifications in financial trading.
Marta Chalmers
Marta facilitates communication with our brokers and oversees agreements, which are essential to the Academy’s operations. She manages the day-to-day liaison with our accreditation body, making sure all students meet the curriculum requirements and exam structure.
When UKTA decided to pursue accreditation in 2022, Marta’s educational background came to the fore. Her diligence and thorough preparation of documentation and procedures led to our full accreditation award in 2024.
Marta now oversees UKTA’s compliance requirements, bringing together her teaching background, financial acumen and a strong commitment to quality and client satisfaction.
