Intermediate Trader – Financial Trading for Professionals

About Course

Ready to build a serious trading skill? Intermediate Trader – Financial Trading for Professionals is a seven-month, Level 5 accredited course worth 120 CPD hours. It gives you the first 16 modules of our ProTrader syllabus, structured so you can learn around your daily commitments, with monthly exams to test your knowledge and achieve the accreditation.

Alongside the core syllabus — markets, the maths of trading, leverage and margin, risk management and trading psychology, order types, indicators and price action — you learn two of the institutional strategies our trading team uses: the Newton Index Strategy and the Da Vinci Code Strategy, plus a bonus strategy module — the Trend Follower Strategy. You also get our trading calculator and access to our bi-weekly live training sessions.

Your qualification

On completion you receive your accredited qualification, a CPD certificate logging your completed hours, and your UK Trading Academy course certificate. To qualify you need to complete the required study hours and pass every exam at 60% or above (you get up to three attempts at each exam).

The exams are optional — you can take the course purely for the training if you prefer — but you will only receive the qualification and CPD hours if the exams are taken and passed.
